Saint Julie Billiart foundress, and first Superior General of the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, was born at Cuvilly, Picardy, France, the sixth of seven children of Jean-François Billiart and his wife, Marie-Louise-Antoinette Debraine.[2]She died at the motherhouse of her institute in Namur, Belgium.
